Dr. Oliver Akamnonu
Dr. Oliver is a physician, with specialization in anesthesiology.
An author and poet, Dr. Akamnonu had his early education at St. Brigit’s School Enugu, Nigeria, and Government Secondary School Afikpo, where he was School Scholar and was later appointed Captain of his High School. He graduated from the University of Ibadan medical and postgraduate schools.
He was Consultant and Head of Department of Anesthesiology at the Government General Hospital before veering off into private medical practice where he founded and managed the Olivia Group of Specialist Hospitals for many years.
He was elected for two consecutive terms and served meritoriously as state chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association from 2000 to 2004. He was appointed a member of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria MDCN, and later a member of the Board of Federal Medical Center Owerri. He was conferred with the Distinguished Medical Practitioner (DMP 2005) award and was co-founder and chairman of the Akamnonu Foundation for the Poor. He was appointed traditional chief of his autonomous community in Nigeria in the early 1990's and pioneered many humanitarian and philanthropic projects for his hometown and adjacent communities. He became an author after he immigrated to the United States and has more than eighteen published books to his credit in the USA.
Dr. Akamnonu is the Chairman/CEO of Akamnonu Associates Incorporated. His watch words are courage, hard work and integrity. He loves poetry and historical movies. His favorite book is the poetry book "Rap to Mars".
He delights in devoting summers days in the park to his grandchildren.
Dr. Chika Agnes Akamnonu
Dr. Chika holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Ibadan Nigeria and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University. She was the winner of the Grace Guobadia Gold prize in Dentistry in her graduating class.
She co-founded Akamnonu Foundation for the poor and was the chief dentist in
Olivia Group of Specialist Hospitals. She is a quiet, dedicated and astute
professional and oversees the resources of the Corporation.
She particularly loves the books “The Pagans’ Medals” and “Coming Late to America."
She adores her four beloved grandchildren.
Dr. Olisaemeka Oliver Akamnonu
Dr. Olisaemeka Oliver is a medical doctor and nuclear medicine resident in Montefiore Hospital New York and MBA graduate student at Kelly School of Business Indiana.
He is an avid reader and lover of books, particularly interested in Business, marketing, real estate in addition to his great love of his professional practice. He has a passion for the promotion of products of Akamnonu Associates.
He particularly loves the books, "The Pagans Medals" and "Suppers of many dishes" Parts I and II.
Dr. Chibuikem Philip Akamnonu
Dr. Chibuikem is a medical doctor. A simple but highly talented product of the University of California Los Angeles and Columbia University Medical School New York, he is an orthopedic/spine fellow in New York City.
In addition to his love of bones, Chibuikem loves his growing family, traveling, books, and movies. He would probably not miss a good movie if he were to have the time.
Dr. Chibuikem particularly enjoys “Arranged Marriage and the Vanishing Roots” as well as the book “The Trial of Monogamy”.
Dr. Somtochi Olivia Akamnonu
Dr. Somtochi a highly talented a highly-talented dentist obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University College of Dentistry.
A product of the Suleja Academy for the Gifted and Talented and the University of Benin College of Medicine and Dentistry she was a zonal winner of the National Mathematics prize. She was “Queen of The Tracks” in High School Sports and a passionate promoter of the products of Akamnonu Associates Incorporated.
Dr. Somtochi loves the book “A Spot to Perch” as well as the highly satirical book “Comedy of Naked Vampires”.
Dr. Chukwuka Peter Akamnonu
Dr. Chukwuka who merits the nickname of “Gentle Genius” for his trail of esteemed academic achievements, and is a Distinguished Service Award (AOA) recipient, and is currently a chief resident internal medicine physician in Nashville, Tennessee. A product of the University of California Riverside he served as a medical student class Vice-President in his graduating class.
He is an avid reader and a big asset to the corporation.
Dr. Chukwuka loves the books “The Honorable” as well as the poetry book “Rap to Mars".
